You could go this way, the little girl says, pointing left.
Or you could go that way, an old woman croaks, gesturing right.
No! No! You have to go in that direction! the adventurer exclaims,
tipping her finger toward the sky.
I’d really rather stay right where I am, the hermit yawns and rubs her tired eyes.
There’s a chance you might enjoy the view, if you take the risk and jump over there,
the dreamer smiles, motioning forward and straight ahead.
But you might find your answers here, a forlorn child begs,
pulling at you from behind.
I’m afraid you’re lost my dear, feet frozen to the icy block of ground
Unable to move until the fear and confusion thaws –
But when that fiery day will come, it’s hard to say,
And while you have the time to think –
You really ought to figure out where exactly you want to go.
